At its core, ‘Me, I Disconnect From You’ is a homage to 1990’s Trip-Hop and Instrumental Hip Hop.

This piece has the delicious push and pulls of tension with two contrasting breakbeats building mountains and valleys of boom-bap.

On the melody side, the two piano riffs performed at different octaves subtlety slide in and out of phase, a treat for headphone fiends.

These seductive shifting elements reveal DJ TR!P’s exceptional attention to detail in his sonic creations.

This throwback track will reignite Trip-Hop fans of DJ Shadow, UNKLE and RJD2.
