‘Dancing With Myself’ is another deep cut from Australian lo-fi beat maker DJ TR!P.

The track oozes sassy lyrics from non-other than Tara Falleti, her velvety and seductive vocals bring out the essence of nights filled with dancing, courtship and finding a suitable suitor.

The textures and timbres of double bass, middle eastern strings, turntablism and hints of early 90’s boom-bap stylings are reminiscent of an era where the UK trip-hop sound dominated the airwaves.

This opus pays homage to production greats such as Portishead, Massive Attack and Tricky.
